Owner / Principal Dance Teacher
From a young age it was obvious that dance was my true passion. I competed in Calisthenics for almost 20 years, representing Victorian in State Team and Graceful Girl solo, attending weekly ballet and jazz classes along with solos, rehearsals and competitions.
Growing up I loved to teach. At the age of 13 I was assisting Sub-juniors for Calisthenics along with teaching many solo girls. At high school I had to be involved with everything stage related! From School production, aerobics teams, to rock eisteddfod. In year 11 I coached the first boys aerobics team our school had seen, and they placed 3rd at National level. In 1999 along with some friends also choreographed the schools rock eisteddfod of 100 students that also went on to place 3rd in the Premiere section.
After graduating from high school, I went on to complete a full time Diploma in Performing Arts at DW301.
I worked professionally as a dancer, model, and performing artist for nearly 8 years working with Disney in Tokyo as well as doing a 8 month contract with Silver Seas, travelling around the world doing what I loved most, DANCE!!!
Back in Melbourne I was involved in many amazing things from year to year such as Melbourne Grand Prix, Loreal Fashion week, Moomba, Cheerleading, Grand Final entertainment, AFI awards, Action Kids Co-Host and many many dance gigs in Melbourne’s nightlife scene, major corporate events and functions. All whilst I was teaching for various dance and performing arts schools.
Now the time has come for me to pass on my love of dance to the people that make me most happy. Working with children and seeing the joy that I bring them through dance is the best reward one could ask for.

We offer a program and teaching style that captures and explores your child's imagination through Dance, Movement and Music. We focus on co-ordination, Dance Technique and Confidence Building.
Our objective at Megan's Dance Studio is to create a fun, nurturing and creative environment for the children to develop, grow and express themselves as individuals.
The children learn and develop new dance skills whilst making friends and enjoying themselves in a friendly non competitive environment.
Students are encouraged to explore their own natural love for movement and music whilst still learning correct dance technique, co-ordination, musicality, as well as gaining valuable life skills such as confidence, self esteem, and the ability to speak in front of others.
