In June 2013, I enrolled my then 3 and a half year old daughter into one dance class per week at Megan’s Dance Studio. I had previously called around at local dance academies and found that Megan’s Dance Studio was the one that had the least uniform fees and a more casual feel; which is what I wanted considering my child was 3 and I had no idea whether she would like it or not.
During the last 4 and a half years at MDS my child has learned not only confidence and made lifelong friends but has learned yoga and breathing techniques, her left from right, correct balance and posture, an ability to perform on stage in front of a large audience and so much more. All of this is due to Miss Megan Miller’s dedication to our children, kind heart, constant support, patience, humour and a complete competency at her profession.
Megan Miller goes above and beyond for her students; from concerts being cancelled due to weather and her coming up with a venue last minute, which I’m sure was out of her pocket, to handing out medals at the end of the year which are not expected or tested for, more participation.
The self-confidence, assurance and pride my child feels about herself after receiving this medal at the end of the year is my Christmas present.
I would highly recommend, and do, that Megan’s Dance Studio is the best for any young child and the love that Megan has for her students, shows. Megan is a part of our family. My extended family that come to the end of term concerts can see the love and care Megan has for my child and her students that even though she probably doesn’t know it, they are all very endeared to her. If my child could write this testimonial, Megan would win hands down. However, I hope this does help Victoria to see that Miss Megan Miller is an absolute asset to Australia and its greatest gift of all: our children.
